PLEASE READ THIS LISTING CAREFULLY! This is full-day of workshops that can be taken individually or as a whole day!
Need a crash course in the most common bead-weaving stitches? Mark your calendar because this event is the one for you! We are offering a FULL day of beginner workshops. You may sign up for individual workshops or all of them. The class fee for EACH workshop will be $10/person + materials. Sign up for all four and receive a discounted rate of $30 (that's one workshop FREE)! We will be reviewing the basics of the stitches listed below. We will NOT be attempting or completing a project.

We ask that you kindly purchase the necessary materials for these classes from the shop the day of the class. You MAY bring with you beading needles, fireline, and a table light (preferably battery operated). Please also bring a healthy dose of organization, efficiency, and patience! This will be a fast-paced day, so these tools will definitely come in handy!

Beginning Peyote Stitch -- 1 hour workshop beginning at 10:30am. PLEASE arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class so that you may pick out your materials. Students will learn flat, even-count Peyote Stitch. This is one of the most versatile stitches in the off-loom weaving collection of stitches. Peyote stitch can then be used as cuff bracelets, rings, beaded beads, toggle closures, etc.
Beginning Ladder Stitch -- 1 hour workshop beginning at 11:45pm. . PLEASE arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class so that you may pick out your materials. Ladder stitch is most often used as the beginning stitch for brick and herringbone stitch.
Beginning Brick Stitch -- 1 hour workshop beginning at 1:00pm. . PLEASE arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class so that you may pick out your materials. Brick Stitch is a wonderfully versatile stitch and extremely useful for making beaded shapes. Although it is similar in look to Peylote Stitch, it is easier to make increases and decreases using this stitch. For this reason, it is most popularly used for making shapes such as turkeys, Christmas Trees, flowers, Shamrocks, and any other shape you wish to create.
Beginning Herringbone Stitch -- 1 hour workshop beginning at 2:15pm. . PLEASE arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class so that you may pick out your materials. Herringbone (also known as Ndebele Stitch) is a beautiful stitch that’s worked with pairs of beads.
